Applications on prescribed form are invited by Indo Tibetan Boarder Police Force (ITBP), MHA Govt. of India from eligible candidates for filling up 168 vacancies of Constable / Pioneer in various trades in the pay scale of Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2000 PM on temporary basis but likely to be permanent. Candidates having cleared Secondary Examination from a recognized Board with one year Trades Experience may apply for the post of Constable / Pioneer and send their application to the Deputy Inspector General, SHQ Delhi of ITBP on or before 09/04/2012. Trade wise Vacancy Details:
  1. Electrician – 56
  2. Plumber – 54
  3. Carpenter – 25
  4. Mason – 25
  5. Painter – 04
  6. Welder – 04
Eligibility Criteria for Constable / Pioneer in ITBP:
Qualifications: Class 10th Passed from a recognized Board with one years experience in the trades of Electrician / Plumber / Carpenter / Painter / Welder. Those candidates will be more preferred who posses a Certificate of Trade from an ITI or any recognized Institute
Age Limit: Between 18 and 23 years as on 09/07/2012. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC / ST Candidates is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years
Physical Standard:
  • ST: – Height – 162.5 cms, Chest – 76 – 81 cms
  • State / UTs: Height – 170 cms , Chest – 80 to 85 cms
  • For all others: Height – 165 cms, Chest – 78 to 83 cms
Weight: Proportionate to height & Age
Vision: 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without wearing glasses
Selection Process: Eligible candidates for the post will be selected on the basis of PST, Written Test of 50 Marks, Trade Test of 60 Marks and Interview of 20 Marks.
Application Fees: General and OBC Candidates are required to pay of Rs.50 in the form of Crossed Bank Draft / CRFS in favour of “Dy. Inspector General, SHQ Delhi ITBP, Payable at SBI, R K Puram,New Delhi, Code No. 1076. Candidates belonging SC / ST / EXS Category are not required to pay application fees
How to apply: Eligible Candidates for the post of Constable / Pioneer may apply in stated format on full size plain Paper affix a latest passport size photographs on it and send with IPO / Bank Draft, copies of supporting documents such as Qualifications Certificate, Date of birth proof, Caste Certificate, Domicile Certificate, one extra passport size photographs, Two Self Addressed envelop of 4”*9” size affixed postage stamp of Rs.5 on each, to “The Dy. Inspector General, SHQ (Delhi) ITBP, Post Office – Madangir, Tigri Camp, New Delhi – 110062” on or before 09/04/2012. Last date for Far-Flung areas candidates is 16/04/2012
