SSC Stenographer Grade C and D, Exam Pattern, Eligibility
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) organizes every year examination for recruitment of stenographers. In such situation it is important to know the Exam pattern and Eligibility Criteria for the Candidates who appear in this examination. Here Exam pattern as well as Eligibility Criteria are being given. So that Candidate who are going to face this examination can prepare for the examination in better way.
SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern -
For the Recruitment of Stenographer, SSC holds two examinations -
(I) Written Test and (II) Skill Test
(I) Written Test – Written Test comprises three papers -
Written Test will contain objective type multiple choice questions only. For each wrong answer there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks.
(II) SSC Stenographer Skill Test — Only Those Candidates who will qualify in written Test will appear in Skill Test of Stenography. In Stenography Skill Tests, Candidates will have to qualify in a Dictation Test of duration of 10 minutes in English or Hindi. Canidate will have to write the Dictation words with at least speed of 100 wpm for Stenographer C grade and 80 wpm for stenography of 80 wpm. After Dictation Test, Candidates will have to transcribe the same matter on computer within following allotted time –
For Stenographer Grade C – 55 Minutes for Hindi and 40 Minutes for English.
For Stenographer Grade D — 65 Minutes for Hindi and 50 Minutes for English
Eligibility Criteria -
Educational Qualification - Candidate should have completed Intermediate from recognized board. Candidate should also have knowledge of Stenography in Hindi or English with 100 wpm speed for grade c and 80 wpm for grade D.
Age Limit – Applicant’s Age should be 18 to 27 years.

Please dear....publish some kind of stenographer's previously question papers.so that i can have a minimum knowledge of the exam's question type.........
