What after IBPS/ How will you get ajob after clearing IBPS

Many candidates faced a problem of repetition of one candidate in many banks' Interviews and high cost of application etc. all will be solved now as IBPS and Banks discussed these issues in a meeting last week.
The HR heads of banks, IBPS Director M. Balachandran and Indian Banks Association (IBA) recently discussed many questions being raised about the new CWE selection Process.
The key points discussed in the meeting are Graduation Requirements, Application fees, Huge gap in Number of Qualifiers and Vacancies and Repetition of one candidate in select lists of various Banks.

No Graduation Requirement for Now

The key decision agreed upon was to remove Graduation requirement from current exam cycle as the same was not mentioned by IBPS at the time of applications were invited. Banks will also mention it clearly when the Next time any CWE is conducted.

Reduction in Application Fee

This matter was also discussed as candidates were claiming that they were paying huge money just for applying and still didn't get any call. So, From now onwards the application fee is supposed to come down to Rs. 100 from 200 (Rs. 20 for Reserved Categories).

Tighter Screening

Many candidates were questioning the logic behind passing so many candidates while the vacancies were less than even 10% of passed candidates. IBPS now decided to tighten the screening criteria to bring down the number of passed candidates to 3 - 4 times of the vacancies.

No more Multiple selections

It's a key issue as many candidates were reportedly getting selected in many banks and leaving no chance for others to get Interview calls.Several measures have been agreed upon to restrict this and make sure that low scoring candidates also tend to get a chance.
  • Joining time has been Minimized to 3 Weeks approx to make sure such repetition is minimized.
  • Banks will now maintain a Waiting list equal to number of vacancies. If the selected person doesn't join, the next candidate in the waiting list will be picked up.It is good sign.
  • If any vacancies are still left unfilled, banks will conduct fresh interviews from those who applied to them.NO fresh registration for the same post.
The new announcements are expected to bring hope in the candidates that are facing many issues as quoted above.

We wish you All The Best for your future !!
